After being struck by a Motorcycle as a pedestrian in October 2021, Mathias has a unique scar on his upper forehead. As a motorcyclist himself, Scarred explores the complexities of self image through the damage of a traumatic brain injury, concussive phases of grief and the bad boy persona of motorcyclists. Scarred reconnects the perpetrator & the neuroplasticity pathways of his true self.
